I went to Merus for a screening colonoscopy. As a healthcare professional myself, I sometimes have anxiety when I'm the patient (I guess I've seen too much). However, the staff put all my anxiety to ease. EVERYONE, from the front desk staff to Dr. Moole were excellent! - professional and welcoming. They were running a liitle behind schedule, but the front desk staff was communicative and let us know. The process was well organized, each step was explained, I was very pleased with how thorough the Anesthesiologist was in reviewing my history, the nursing staff was great and Dr. Moole explained my results right after the proceedure. She was great, very thorough. Explained everything to my understanding. And her staff, the nurses, were awesome. Only thing, my appointment was at 12, had to be there at 11, but didn’t get into the colonoscopy room until 1. Next time, I’ll try to get an earlier appointment. But I would highly recommend her.

The pre op nurse, Ellen was wonderful. She was kind and helpful. The nurse Anethesicist, Kristi was really sweet too. She informed me about what was doing and she would be doing. The only complaint was the front desk, when we arrived, the person was helping someone but never made eye contact with us and kept us waiting for 10 minutes just standing waiting to check in.

From check-in, pre-op, procedure room to recovery to discharge, doctors and care team were attentive, informative, knowledgeable, and professional. The anesthesia doctor and Dr Moole took time to explain all the steps involved with the procedure in very understandable terms. Dr. Moole’s follow up after the procedure was clear and detailed.
